Not only did I feel I got to help the kids improve their skills, but I felt like I could help them achieve their goals as a friend. I like to make the experience enjoyable for the student both academically and socially. I have also spent years tutoring and teaching my little sister while she was growing up (reading, writing, learning a new musical instrument).
